Open Water Swimming Taster Sessions in Lyme Regis
 

The 2024 open water taster sessions are coming to a close but will be back for 2025 so if you lack confidence in the sea or are nervous about sea swimming do come and join one of my Open Water Taster Sessions to help you with your sea swimming confidence.

During the 1 hour sessions we cover:

• Dealing with and managing anxiety

• Acclimatisation process and safe entry

• Sea Safety together with weather and tides

• Cold Water Shock (a consideration even in early Summer)

• How to get the best from your equipment

• Basic sea swimming skills where we also look at stroke/s where front crawl is generally the preferred stroke for open water we also look at Breastroke and show you how you can swim with less effort and be more relaxed and streamlined in the water.

• And prepare you to move forward with your future swimming

 

The cost is just £9 per person and you do need to pre-register and pre pay in advance. *Limited numbers*  

Wetsuit hire is available @ £9 for the session.

I have silicone swimming hats and goggles available to use free of charge if you need them.

The sessions are lifeguarded by an SLSGB / RNLI Lifeguard and are always run weather permitting.
