Race or Event Preparation
Swim Challenge, Charity Event or Triathlon / Aquathlon
Are you are looking to enter a charity swimming event, challenge swim or Triathlon for the first time and are a bit nervous or anxious about the prospect. Or perhaps as a Triathlete you are aiming for that podium position at local, regional or national/international level and feel that swimming is your weakest discipline when it comes to multi sport events? If so let's have a chat. Give me a call or send me an email and we can discuss ways to help you prepare and plan effectively for race or event day and swim like a Triathlete or Open Water Swimmer. We will teach you the skills to help prepare you for event day by putting you in different scenarios (exposure therapy) so you become accustomed and comfortable with swimming open water events which are very different from pool events.
I have worked with a considerable range of swimmers/competitiors all with their own specific goals from Triathletes with entries in British National Super Series (Triathlon), Lanzarote Ironman, Nice Ironman, Barcelona Ironman, Mallorca 70.3 Ironman, Weymouth 70.3 Ironman, GB Age group World and European qualifiers (Triathlon) and World Biathle qualifiers, and swimmers targeting English Channel Solo and Relay, Round Jersey Relay, Ultra Swim 33.3 Montenegro, South West Open Water Championships, Bantham Swoosh, Plymouth Breakwater Swim, Exmoor Swim, Brownsea Island Swim, Seahorse Swim, River Dart 10K and local events such as Bournemouth Triathlon, Croyde Triathlon, Perranporth Triathlon, Torbay Triathlon, Dartmouth Triathlon, Dawlish Triathlon and Lyme's popular swimming events, the Lyme Splash 3.15Km swim to Charmouth and RNLI swim challenge during Lifeboat Week here in Lyme Regis.
